So, since the day we moved in back in 2011, the kitchen in this house of ours has been our least favorite room. Lisa Shamblin Kellett has hated the drop-down ceiling and the narrow space between the walls, and I hated the floors in the kitchen and the entryway. Well, the wall is gone, and the ceiling is where it's supposed to be, and the floors now match every other room in the house. This little project started back on 11/15, as my father-in-law and myself started the demolition. We had to call in some big guns (Joel Petey Shamblin, Shyanne Shamblin, Joel Shamblin, and Shyane's boyfriend Zach) to help get all the tiles up off the floor. Then, on 11/17, Jeromy Dale at Right Way Restore came into our home and made our wishes come true! His crew, including Josh (who we've adopted), John, Chauncey, and Chad, came into our house and treated us and our home with respect. We cannot say thank you enough to that group of guys! Jeromy was as gracious and thoughtful as you could ever hope your contractor would be.
